We are selling a used MeWa UC 60 twin-shaft shredder, manufactured in 1996, for the industrial shredding of recycled and waste materials.
The machine features a robust twin-shaft cutting unit with intermeshing cutting discs. The cutting unit is driven from both sides by two SEW-EURODRIVE gearmotors, each with a power rating of 22 kW. This results in a total installed motor power of 44 kW.
Material is fed into the machine via an upwardly tapered feed hopper. The shredder’s feed opening below measures approximately 600 × 600 mm.
Thanks to its robust construction and dual-shaft cutting principle, the MeWa UC 60 is suitable for use in recycling, processing, and shredding plants. The types of materials that can be processed with this machine depend on the material type, blade configuration, desired degree of shredding, and the respective operating conditions.
The shredder is mounted on a sturdy steel base frame. The frame measures approximately 2,000 × 1,150 × 1,320 mm (L × W × H). The weight of the unit, including the frame, is approximately 1,300 kg.
The twin-shaft cutting unit is clearly visible in the photos. The machine and cutting unit show signs of wear consistent with their age and previous industrial use, as well as surface corrosion in some areas. Condition
The MeWa UC 60 is in used condition.
The housing, cutting mechanism, drives, and other components show signs of wear and tear due to age and use. Some discoloration and surface corrosion are visible on the cutting mechanism.
The blades and cutting discs are present. A definitive assessment of the remaining wear allowance for the individual cutting elements cannot be made based on the photos and should be verified during an on-site inspection if necessary.
